summer

here it is very cold, and one wonders if fall has sneakily started, a little too early, mostly the middle of August and then our fall time can be very beautiful, real winter doesn't set in till October.

ahhhhh our seasons very clearly divided.Yet Summer for me is a time, that first you can't believe that it is actually summer all the green and warmth. Today i know again that winter will come again, so now that is in the back of my mind, that winter will be here soon. Hardly ever is summer here totally, where it totally enters your bones.

I long for summer deep in my bones

Yet it is summer very much and i love it, even with the woodstove heating the house.

i love icelandic poppies. this is a beautiful shot! we've had no deep bone warming summer in northern Alberta yet either, but it's not over yet! i've been reading a book called 'Gold Diggers', about the Yukon and the gold rush - a pleasant read, and very nostalgic.

We haven't really had any summer either. It has stayed cool and rainy. Only one warm (not hot) day.

Miss you now that we hardly write back and forth any more. It's okay to move on but I am very fond of you. I don't mind saying so in public.

Hmm well. The weather is a strange thing! We had.. 25 degrees in al of May, June was ok, but this July.. Wow, it never rained so much!! We even had a day with 20 hours of rain, nonstop!
I know I always wanted a swimingpool in my garden, but that was too much! x]

beautiful picture!! Summer of 2011 is neither in Europe one of the best. Although, spring was more than great...!!
But.... not at all ready for autumn/winter yet. I want to feel it deep in my bones too.... Somewhere, sometimes, in summertime...
